Acorn Signs
Acorn Signs has led the way in creative sign manufacture in Scotland for over 20 years, and they are still growing. They specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke interior and exterior signage and display systems for commercial, corporate and municipal buildings.
They pride themselves on their attention to detail. Together the team has a combined experience of 100 years in the industry, and includes skilled carpenter, technicians and designers. There also experienced providers of vehicle graphics, exhibition systems, wayfinding and interpretation solutions and digital print services.
The production site in Inverness enables them to develop and manufacure over 90% of their signs and displays entirely in-house, so they can keep a tight monitor on quality, schedule and budget for each project. All their products are hand-finished and checked before and after installation.
2bcreative were asked to come up with some new concepts for Acorn Signs. A difficult task considering all the materials at our disposal. In the end the new identity was backlit, creating a halo effect around the lettering. The graphics were then applied to all vehicles and signage.
