Altyre Estate
A traditional estate with a contemporary approach to enterprise and the environment - and an eye always on the future.
Sir Alastair Gordon-Cumming approached 2bcreative to come up with a corporate identity and website for Altyre Estate, in Forres, which linked the past historic with the modern thinking future. As our basis for the logo, the tower of the Blairs Home Farm building was used. This was probably built to a design by Archibald Simpson (1790 - 1847), who had undertaken a study tour in Italy c1812 before setting up practice in his native Aberdeen. He is know to have visited Altyre in February 1834.
Once the identity was established the website and stationery quickly followed.
Altyre Estate has many exciting plans for the future - from forestry, fishing and farming to sustainability, renewables and business incubation. One to watch.
